THE LODGE

restoration | cotswolds

This garden required gradual restoration, working within an established framework of mature trees and shrubs to preserve its character and integrity.

The works included re-building the dry-stone retaining walls, terracing and the glasshouse at the centre of the garden (which now houses a wide variety of tender plants). A series of different areas were created: a woodland garden with a stream fringed with ferns, a vegetable garden, potting garden, a shrubbery, cloud topiary and herbaceous beds.
