Situated in a beautiful valley in Oxfordshire, the old buildings provide a wonderful sense of peace and timelessness. They surround the original farmyard which was planted as a wild-flower meadow.

 

The project brief was to make connections between the house, the annexe and the outbuildings for year-round access while retaining a sense of the site's original function. The existing meadow was complemented by a planting scheme that added visual and seasonal variety.
